Piper arrived in a blaze of glory at 12:16 am on April 22nd. We are very happy to have her earthside. She came into the world unassisted and is doing very well. It was a bit of an adventure for me for a few hours after she was born, but I am doing just fine now. She weighs 6lbs 6oz and is 20 inches long. We are still working on the nursing thing, but she is starting to get the hang of it. I am sure she will be a champ in no time.
I will post her birth story and add pictures in a day or two. I am feeling a bit "abused" down there at the moment so sitting at the computer for too long is uncomfortable.
