We are going to try and do it at home but I'm nervous about it. I've just started charting so we aren't nearly ready to inseminate. I got a book about it that's very good but kind of depressing at the same time (kind of a Debbie Downer). How long should I chart before we try? It's so expensive and I don't want to have to do it alot before I get pregnant. Besides I'm afraid that I would get frustrated and want to give up if I don't get pregnant the first 3-4 times that we try. I'm still a little scared I guess. . .

Welcome to the boards! What book are you reading? I suggest that you read
"The new essential guide to Lesbian Conception Pregnancy and Birth by Stephanie Brill. I love that book. I got pregnant the first time we tried, and I think it's because I followed her advice about living a fertile lifestyle. The book also gives loads of information about inseminating at home.
