Does you baby like to be covered?

It's a normal baby thing, right?
Dd hates to be covered...it's like she's got a sensor in her little feet, which goes alert when I put a blanket on her when she's asleep...
Even at night when she sleeps in our bed, her legs will go kicking the sheets off in her sleep...

Mags.

Ha! How funny. My dd (now 11 mo) started doing that around 7 mo...just out of the blue. I thought it was a fluke but here, 4 mo later, she still does it. She is a very sound sleeper...I can vacuum, shower, dry my hair....just about anything and she will not wake up, but put a blanket over her and seconds later it will be kicked off...sometimes violently!

Yup! My 2yo dd still won't sleep with covers (or pajamas). LOL

Ds will probably be the same way... if I cover him it seems to disturb his sleep. :

He doesn't love it...which makes discreet NIP somewhat difficult, I'm never quite sure when he's going to pull the blanket off!

Lucy can not stand to be covered.....especially her head (like when playing peek aboo with a blanket or putting on a hat) but at night it's no problem. The other two are another story....they don't keep covers on at night....even if it's freezing. They have to wear sweats if it's cold.

Hates it! His little legs will go straight up in the air, and kick, kick, kick until the covers are off....I have to make sure he goes to bed in a long outfit so he'll at least have something to keep him warm!
