did you know?

Did you know that a 15 month old child fits PERFECTLY in the recess in the Home Depot 'car' shopping cart and can nurse very happily while mommy pushes the cart around and gets items for home repair?

He wanted to nurse and I wanted to shop and he's too darn heavy and BIG for me to carry while moving and nursing at the same time.

My dh said he didn't even realize what I was doing - either that or he's just used to me feeding baby whenever/wherever. LOL

Figured ya'll would get a smile out of that.

and just in case there are some who are worried about safety, I had one arm around baby at all times, I steered with the other. . .. .

bettyann

ps this is same child who's been known to 'hook up' thru my shirt and bra while in grocery store shopping cart - he's at just the right level to 'eat' - and since i'm well endowed, i don't even notice initially til i get weird looks and i glance downa nd see the spreading wet stain. ...

yeah, i'm not exactly hiding the fact that i bf. lol

How cute. My mom was reminding me the other day that I *will* be able to travel home from IL to NC for Christmas with a newborn, because I can just "hang one" over the carseat like I did on rare occasions with my daughter when she (my mom) was driving.
I told her I'm not sure I can hang it over for a newborn on a 16 hr road-trip! Sheesh!!!:

That is wonderfu!!! Hahaha. I love hearing that women are not embarrassed or shamed out of bf in public. More power to you ladies.
