We need to replace ours. And install some soffits and faschia, heck, probably even a new roof, too but anyway....

I see on the market theres vinyl; steel or aluminimum. Has anyone recently replaced theres and have any insight on to whats better?

TIA!

You mean gutters, right? Dang language barrier...

We just did a section of ours in order to extend one out and put in a rain barrel. The one lesson we learned was to take off your existing gutter (if you are patching) and haul it to the store with you so that you can make 100% sure the first time around that you have the *right* gutter to patch in to.

Vinyl's just plain bad- check out this movie: http://www.bluevinyl.org/animation.htm

But the mining of metals is just plain bad, too. Do you REALLY have to replace them, or can they be repaired?

They're pretty warped. (metal of some sort) And theres lots of holes and leaks all over the place. They're quite old. I'll take a closer look to see if it is possible to repair, that would certainly be a cheaper option.
