Begins at home. The home inside each one of us.
I'd like to formally introduce MDC to The Work of Byron Katie.
I am a practitioner and facilitator of The Work and have practiced it personally since 2000.
I cannot describe how much this simple yet powerful method of self-inquiry has changed my life for the better.
It is truly mind-blowing for me.
The Work consists of four questions and what is known as a turnaround.
Here are some links that demonstrate how The Work works as it is a living tradition and cannot be described righteously enough with just words, in my opinion.

A recent interview with Byron Katie, live at Venice Beach:
(I find Part II to be especially moving.)
Peace be with you.
I like this part. It resonates with me:
As I began living my turnarounds, I noticed that I was everything I called you. You were merely my projection. Now, instead of trying to change the world around me (this didn't work, but only for 43 years), I can put the thoughts on paper, investigate them, turn them around, and find that I am the very thing I thought you were. In the moment I see you as selfish, I am selfish (deciding how you should be). In the moment I see you as unkind, I am unkind. If I believe you should stop waging war, I am waging war on you in my mind.
