I should have waited for DH's help!!!

So I asked DH a few days ago if he could help me with a little grooming down there. I remember what it was like after I had dd and I hadn't touched that area since I lost sight of it. Ugh all the lochia matted in my really long jungle of hairs was really gross. Like I wasn't sore enough and raw enough down there, but then I had to contend with the hair. So this time, I'm thinking ahead and I decided I would have dh give me a nice trim.

Well, today I got out of the shower and I was standing there looking in the mirror and I just decided to go for it. Bad idea. I started at the top with dh's clippers and since I couldn't see what I was doing I was just going along, la dee da dee da, I decided to take a look in the mirror to see the progress and found that I have completely shaved myself bald. And only in the front area, like the area on top of my pubic bone.

So I stopped right there and I've decided to wait for dh to come home so he can help me finish the rest of it. OMG he's going to laugh his butt off when he sees what I've done!!! Especially because there are still little patches of slightly longer hair all over the place because I just can not see what I'm doing!!

Poor mama! I was just thinking this morning that I will have to enlist dh soon for some trimming down there, I'm having trouble seeing and reaching.

That is too funny! I started to do that in the shower the other day with my regular razor. I could see nothing so when I got out I just have this bald spot right at the top that itches like CRAZY...especially at night. I told dh we need to set up a time to trim and pretty up...I just hate it...UGH!

: I had DH use the buzzer down there a few weeks ago. He was game to do it. I was giggling, so embarrassed. His approach was fairly professional which I appreciated. I suppose I'll ask him to do it again before long. No pun intended.

I would never let an electric appliance get close to me down there! I use scissors. Pretty easy to do it by feel.

DH trimmed my toenails for me yesterday, and puts my socks on for me when I'm having a really sore day. I let him trim me a few weeks ago and he, like Willzmama's DH, was fairly professional about it. He asked to do it again today and I didn't feel like it, but will probably get him to do it again this weekend. There is no way that I would attempt it on my own right now and I am taking Laura's wise advice about not having tooo much down there for the first days after birth, it's been mentioned before.

Hah hah! I've been having trouble just shaving my bikini zone for the beach.I've been doing it by touch and hoping that I don't have any showing.Now my bathing suit is so streched out though it doesn't matter cuz it gapes open on the sides.

i took the buzzer to myself (blindly!) a few weeks ago. i can't see at all what's going on down there right now. i actually cut myself and decided i'll have to have dh do it in the next couple of weeks so it is 'trim' for labor. mine is very reluctant to assist but i am going to insist.

Yup - I had to have DH help me with his beard trimmer. I feel so self conscious about it - but he seems to find it fun - go figure.

I told my hubby I was going to have him help me do this so he keeps asking me when he gets to trim me because he is hoping it will lead to some action LOL

I went last week and had a pedicure done when my toe nails needed trimmed. I do not trust dh enough to do that job.

oh my - i can't even imagine letting dh get near there with scissors, let alone doing it myself sight unseen. there are too many delicate parts down there to go at it with scissors. i am quite happy letting dh use his beard trimmer with the shortest guard on it - those things just don't cut or even pinch.

Yeah, especially since I can't feel my fingers, what a disaster that would be! Much better to let DH do it. I told him I was going to check his work when I could see it again and that he'd better not make me mad!
