Hi all.
Firstly, congratulations to all those who have had their babies recently, and good labour vibes to all those who haven't as yet!
My dd, Alice, was born last week on 17 April. I had some prelabour contractions throughout the day on the Monday which fizzled into nothing by late afternoon. At about 9.50 pm, my waters broke and regular, real contractions started within a few minutes. By the time I arrived at the hospital half an hour later they were 3 mins apart, and she was born at 1.44 am on the Tuesday morning, weighing in at 4.18 kg (about 9 lb 2 or 3, I think).
We've both been doing well, she's feeding like a champ and filling out already, and is basically just beautiful. See? http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-...e_3daysold.jpg (She's in my mum's arms at 3 days old here).
