Pasteurization of All Almonds

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but wanted to make sure it got out to you all. Apparently starting this fall, all almonds must be pasteurized and raw almonds will no longer be available?

I'm not sure if we can do anything about, but I sure plan to write a few letters and let my thoughts be known.

Anybody have any other information on this? Just wanted to spread the word. Thanks!

OMG, I had no idea! I buy almonds in bulk all the time...uggh...that really makes me angry, can they keep their paws off NOTHING? :

We are going to have to have almond field "shares" so we can get raw almonds!
