ROFL at this.

I used to be a top-notch homemaker. As in, sparkling, shining, toothbrush to scrub on the corners sort of gal.

Then I had a baby.

I seriously think our house would be condemned. At least our kitchen and bath.

Er...the last time I cleaned the bathroom was about four months ago...at least....otherwise, it's picking things up, wiping the sink and every so often the toilet if I'm taking a bath (the toilet is within arm's reach).

Kitchen...er...I DID clean it (as in, thorough cleaning of all surfaces) a couple weeks ago, but I haven't mopped in at least a month, and, yes, DD does frequently eat off of it...(hey, that's where Puppy's food is, and NOTHING is better than Puppy's food "*sigh*).

I DO make the bed, do the dishes, and straighten up each day, vacuum, laundrey, and dust once a week.

As long as it's not a legit health hazard, there are more important things.

Noone ever laid on their deathbed and said, "I wish I'd spent more time cleaning"

The house is generally clean every Tuesday or Wednesday, and trashed again by Friday.

I'm a 3.5. Once every other week everything is clean... but that's because that's when the cleaning service comes. If left to my own devices you'd best stay out of the upstairs bath.

Dh gets his done....

That's all i'm saying....

Oh, and MIL.... well she's always dropping hints on how easy it is to keep a home clean....

I voted the clean dishes and messy upstairs. It would be even worse if not for the cleaning lady who comes every other week

I voted 'Clean one day a week'.

This is because I have a woman come and clean once a week I also clean at the same time. Picking up everything off the floor, putting away laundry, organizing, etc. Then I like dd to have her nap when the house is clean and it can stay that way for maybe two hours.

We live in a smaller house and it seems like 5 toys on the floor is a huge mess. Which there always is so unexpected guests come to a 'mess'. But I am sort of okay with that.

Well, the house is always very clean, but it's more my mom's doing then mine!
