not sure if this belongs here or not, but i wanted to share a cute story & knew you ladies would appreciate it. we went on dd1's field trip to the zoo today & i had dd2 in a wrap & she was nursing. of course all the kids wanted to see the baby & one little boy piped up "She's drinking her milk guys! don't you know it's not polite to interrupt someone's lunch!"
at which point all these kids started telling me "I drank milk from my mom's boobs" or "My baby brother is nursing too." type things & it totally warmed my heart! not one rude comment or "grooosss" like i would have thought from a bunch of 7 & 8 year olds....then i started thinking....if BF'ing is what children perceive as normal & they don't think twice about it, why do some adults? hmmm. i just wanted to share as i thought it was encouraging.
