My 11 month old will not feed himself at all. He will eat finger food off our fingers, but will only play with finger food himself, not eat it.
He also does not try to put anything in his mouth that doesn't belong there (which I'm grateful for, actually, and of course I still watch him in case he does.)
He just hasn't made the leap that "something I'm holding in my hand is something I can put in my mouth," food-wise or otherwise. Should I be a little concerned about this?
He seems developmentally normal otherwise. (And he doesn't feed himself a bottle because I'm still nursing.)
