I know this is totally stupid, but DH and I were watching the Flintstones today. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Flintstones, but it was the episode where Pebbles is born and comes home from the hospital. And it set off my inner lactivist...
The whole episode, Fred is heating up bottles of formula on the stove. I was annoyed at first, but then considered that it was an episode from 1963, when boobs obviously didn't exist.
Other than that, I was, of course, slightly bothered by the fact that Wilma had NO pp fat... at all!
: But at least they were using cloth diapers, right? 
I just had to keep telling myself "It's a cartoon, Sunny, just a stupid cartoon..." "People in the sixties forgot that formula didn't exist in the stone age..."
