Aidan Rey Has Arrived!

I first want to thank all the members for sharing their words of wisdom. I have been lurking on this site since last year when two of my friends were pregnant at the same time.

Can't write too much, since Aidan is a very high-needs baby. My boobs hurt, (as do other parts). : )

Needless to say, after 44 hours of back labor plus 2 1/2 hours of pushing, I feel like I got hit by a truck. Aidan weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and measured 19 3/4 inches. I can't believe the overwhelming mix of emotions.

Now the real hard part begins....

Congratulations and welcome to another Aidan. My first labor was a lot like yours sounds - long and hard. Your body will recover and Aidan will start to adjust to this big new world he is in now.
