Crawling

DS started crawling a couple weeks ago. I keep pants on him but man it's hot! With out pants he gets rug burn. Is there something you can buy for little knees to keep them from getting red and hot?

I have seen knee pads for baby somewhere. Personally, I just let his knees toughen up to it. It didn't seem to bother him any.
