Hi Everyone,

I was unable to vote. I got the message that my browser does not accept the cookies. So, I changed the security level to accept all cookies, and I still get the same message. Any ideas?

Anyhow, I thought the article was supposed to show both sides. Not really the case was it. Makes me so mad!!

Did anyone have the stomach to see the video? Sorry, I just can't. I looked at that sweet little boy in the picture and my heart just aches when I know what is about to happen to him.

Well, the video doesn't show a circ. (At least not the first part of the video--I didn't watch the whole thing.)

The video, however, is still horrendous. It has a "debate" about circ, between a guy who is pro-circ and a guy who is supposedly anti-circ. However, the anti-circ guy is still spewing propaganda, such as the UTI and STD crap. It's actually hard to tell whose side he is on. That's why I had to turn it off.

Log off of the internet and set you security level to "medium" then go back on and you should be able to vote. For some reason, I can't change my security level to a lower setting while on line and I suppose yours is the same.

Voted and also wrote them a letter on what a terrible job they did representing the issue. Pointed out they downplayed the complications and forgot the biggest issue of them all: is it ethical to remove a healthy body part for cosmetic or even slight benefits. And reminded them that no organization in the world recommends the procedure. But, too little, too late.

I would have to guess that the author is circ'd and had his sons circ'd too. I watched the video and it made me mad; the pro guy got two turns, the anti-guy got one. A little biased perhaps? At the end the pro guy said that if you don't know, make the kid look like dad. As if the kid will care. *sigh* "Yeah, us doctors know more than God/Evolution. So what he was born with it? We don't like it, it's ugly, and we're getting paid! Rip it off dude!"
