Does raw milk have vitamin D?

Pasteurized milk is fortified with it, obviously. Does raw milk not have any?

Raw milk does have vitamin D, that is better absorbed than added Vitamin D. When they pasturize and homogenize the milk then it takes alot of the good enzymes and bacteria out as well as the natural Vitamin D. Hope that helps alittle.

That would depend on the cow's diet and time spent in the sun. I don't think whole milk would be a significant source of vit. D even under optimal conditions, though.

Okay, so I looked up in my the 150 Healthiest Foods on EarthBook and it says"Vitally important nutrients like vitamins A and D are greatest in cows eating green grass. And the healthy enzymes contained in raw milk help the body assimilate all those great nutrients, including, by the way calcium"

Here's the percentages of Vitamin D listed in "Raising Goats for Milk and Meat":
Breast milk- 22 i.u.
Goat's milk- 24 i.u.
Cow's milk- 14 i.u.
