Mice in the Shed--please help me move them out!

I would love to convince the mice who have taken up residence in our shed to find a new home, but (especially with kids and a dog around) don't want to use chemicals or poisons and also want something humane. If anyone has any ideas, especially if they do not involve me coming in direct contact with the mice (as humane traps would), I would appreciate them!

The first thing that came to mind was "snakes". That's what dh would tell you. Of course where you can find some/or how you can lure them I don't know. More importantly, are snakes better than mice?

Oooooo, snakes or mice? I think I'll keep the mice!
