Just wanted to address this as well as the comment made equating the stock market with gambling.
The difference to me is that, even in a game like Monopoly, you are actually BUYING something (or pretending to buy something). In real life, if you invest in the stock market, you are BUYING something. Even if you speculate in the market or in real estate, for example, you get SOMETHING for your money. It's not the same as gambling.
