TTC#1 in our 30's May Thread - Page 9

Well, it's way too early for me to be hopeful, but I am finding lots of reasons/omens to think this may be the month for me. * I know - danger, danger! *

Ok, here they are:

1. The day of the month is my CD... May 13 is CD13, etc...
2. I ovulated on Mother's Day.
3. I'm expecting AF (or not) on my birthday.
4. I had five days in a row with the same temp. I thought the thermometer was broken but I tested it other times of the day and it's not... Then I noticed that on the month xenon got PG she also had 5 days in a row with the same temp..
5. Infertility appt may have scared me into getting PG!
6. I've felt really cuddy and lovey today.

Coincidence, I think not!

Dang, how in the world am I going to get back to neutral?? And do I want to?? Sigh...

Thanks everyone, it still hasn't really sunk in but since my boobs arrived this morning and I'm feeling really nauseous we're getting there.

Jen those sound like very promising omens, fwiw both times that I've had the requisition for the HSG in my hands I ended up pregnant so I'm a big believer in scaring yourself into getting pregnant!

There was so much weekend activity that after catching up on the reading, I don't have any time for posting, so a general hi to all!

Jen, I like your omens too.

Well, I’m having a bit of an ambiguous month, but FF gave me cross hairs today, so I guess I’m firmly planted in the 2ww. For some reason I’m not holding out too much hope for this month.

I also realized that I was supposed to start my saliva test on cd3, but I didn’t – I started it on cd5. So I’m not sure what to do, and if that’ll mess up the whole test. I’m thinking I’ll wait and take a sample on cd3 of the next cycle.

CONGRATS!! I was sitting over here getting a lil misty eyed!!

Wow! Ya'll are busy on the weekends!! A overall Hi and *love* to everyone!

I'm doing aiight in this 2WW - I really, really, really don't think I'm pregnant, and thus, I haven't even sneaked a single PIAC yet (I usually start on 9DPO ). Besides my chart looks utterly absurd, so.... ch. Whatever. *sigh*

If AF doesn't show up this weekend, then, THEN, I might even get neutral.

I did this too, for 5 days, same temp and then the last two have been higher, today was the highest yet, (does sunburn up your temp?--got a little bit doing landscaping around the deck over the weekend...)

I was crampy on Saturday and a little bit today, so i'm kind of skeptical... I plan to test again on Wednesday (my birthday) if AF doesn't show by then. Wednesday should be around when AF is due.

CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!! SARAH! WOOT!!

Michelle, you are so sweet to keep taking photos! I think this thread has a mascot (WHY is there no llama smilie?)

Jen, I actually noticed your flat temperatures and thought, hmmm, nice It seemed to work for me! So many good omens for you.

Judy, you've got a pretty sweet-looking chart going yourself!

Kiya and Christina, it sounds like you've both got a case of the Mondays I see beauty in every chart, and I certainly see it in both of yours :

Sarah, LOVE that new signature :

Lambs? Where? I wanna see the lambs!:
eta: oh, I see them....Awwwww.

Oh, I definitely have a case of the Mondays.....I left my library book on the train. We even drove to the yard to try to get it, but no luck, it had already gone back to the city. It is impossible to get anything from their lost and found. Too bad the library is gonna charge me like 50 bucks for it.

Oooh, Judy, that IS a nice looking chart!! I'm decidedly neutral for you, I am!!

So, I couldn't hold out any longer, and I took my first PIAC with an HSG tonight.

It was amazingly non-positive. *sigh* *wiggles nose* *glares at chart*

I know, I know, evening urine, and it's still far, far too early (10DPO according to FF, but I think it's only 7DPO). So, We'll see.

And yeah! I missed the lambs too!

Hello all,

Hope everyone is had a great week-end. I'm still in the 2WW at 11DPO. I foolishly POAS yesterday. Mother's Day. Wouldn't it be great to get a BFP on Mother's Day? What is not so great is a BFN on Mother's Day. No hint of a line. Frown. AF is due tomorrow or the next day. Or in 9 months (please, please, please!!)

Jencat -- Your chart looks great! And I'm a firm believer in omens, so that sure bodes well for you!! : : And regarding mid-wives, I also second what's been posted.

Judy -- Your chart also looks amazing. :

Michelle -- I have llama fever! thanks for the pics and the words of encouragement. I'm glad your levels are getting back to normal. The healing capacity of bodies is really impressive.

Sarah -- Congratulations on the less ambiguous test results--and on your other symptoms. I imagine it's easier to believe when you actually feel pregnant.

Christina -- Too bad about the library book. The good thing about Mondays is they only last 24 hours.

Here's looking toward Tuesday!

Christina - Can you just go buy a brand new copy of the book and give THAT to the library? That way you will only have to pay for the cost of the book.

Emily, yep, I'm thinking about doing that. Except I know they'll know it's not theirs since it doesn't have a clear plastic cover and the library stamp. Well, I was thinking about buying the book anyway, so the worst case is I'll end up keeping that copy.

jentina, don't be discouraged by the bfn. : for no af for 9 months!
