Awww, Kripa, you can still come hang out from time to time, Emily, Dee, and Kharen do!

Nico CONGRATULATIONS! Yay! Happy, Healthy, pregnancy and baby vibes!

And yep, it didn't feel real to me for at least a few weeks, so give yourself some time!

Kharen
I'm sure the little one is safe and healthy, but doesn't it seem to be forever to get the first appoinments?

Christina I love your enthusiasm!

Kiya Wow! Sounds like you guys had an excellent, excellent weekend! Busy, and productive, and maybe reproductive!

Judy Have a good 2ww, and yep, it only takes one BD! So, fingers crossed!

jencat Hope your friend's birth went well! I sent good vibes her way .

Sarah That is exactly why I like the Diva cups too, they fit my OCD brain in quantifying AF!

Xenon Where are you? I'm stalking your chart...

Me. Well, no shearing. It SNOWED here on Saturday, and you can't shear wet llamas or sheep, so we're on hold with that. Likewise we didn't get all the outside stuff done that we wanted either. Four posts set in concrete for the garden and orchard fences, and that's it!

I did laundry, carded wool batts up, cleaned out my fiber room, and dreamed about things to knit and spin.

It was a good weekend.

And...I think I'm done bleeding. Only the tiniest hint of spotting now, no more cramps. So I temped today for the first time! I guess, I can be excited about TTC again.

The in-laws left last Friday. I've been lurking here and there while they were here, but I'm too : to try to catch up on personals!

Last Thursday, I got accepted to law school. The school also gave me a $21,000 scholarship. I am excited, but now not sure what to think about ttc. I am probably going to not tta or ttc for a couple of months and then ttc again starting in August. Classes are over for the year in mid-April and final exams are over by May 2. So if I conceive in August or September this year, I could give birth in May or June and have a couple of months at home before classes began again.

Since high school, I have wanted to do environmental work of some sort. The law school I will be attending, Barry University, is a cosponsor of a new Center for Earth Jurisprudence. I feel like this is exactly what I am meant to do. But I also feel that I am meant to be a mother.

I have been working on these two goals -- getting into law school and ttc -- and have just been taking the next step for each one, not sure how it will all work out, but having faith that if everything happens, we'll figure it out. So, although I am very excited about law school, I am a little ambivalent because I don't know what to think about ttc right now.

Yep, yep, yep! Once upon a time there was no graduates thread so people just hung around here. I suspect quite a few grads are still lurking without posting. This is such a supportive wonderful thread, it is hard not to get invested in the women here and want to hang around to spread love and (and smilie parades!).

Sorry about the weather Michelle. Sounds like you had a nice weekend anyway. However, I selfishly had to admit that I a little excited you didn't get to shear the llama because that means you have to keep it on your "to do" list which means you might once again have weekend plans that involve shearing the llama which you will of course share with us so that we can all giggle like 5 years old

PiePie might have more to say about this (being a lawyer herself) but in my opinion getting pg (and actually spending time with the babe) will be MUCH easier in school rather than when you get out. Almost all of the new lawyers I know work insane hours and hardly ever get to see their family. Good luck with the May timing (Taurus are my absolute favorites, 3 of my closest friends and my first true love boyfriend are all Tauruses. I totally wanted a Taurus baby).

Well, my friend had a baby boy yesterday! Alexander Christopher, 7 or 7 1/2 lbs (DH took the call so... he forgot as soon as he hung up!) This and her last baby were such easy deliveries, lucky woman! They were maybe going to come home today already!

Karen - congratulations on law school and your scholarship! Great job, woman!! I'm so happy to hear you're going to do something wonderful for the environment. I'm a serious tree-hugger and work in the recycling field myself.

Ok, another quote that I - for one - have no idea what it means! I think this might mean that you shear sheep, make wool thread and then knit clothing and such from it??? Very cool! Glad you're almost done bleeding and excited about ttc again!

Kharen - glad you're feeling good!

Kripa - how about you,how do you feel? Have you gotten the second ultrasound done that your dr wanted you to do (the ONLY one you agreed to!)

Dam, we are an industrious bunch!! We are gonna be some hard-workin' mamas!

HOT here - almost 90 I think... ugh. Supposed to be one of the hottest summers ever here in SoCal. I'll have to break down and get a window A/C if not central air by then...

Nico, congratulations! : I love that your BFP came on a relaxed month (and that you didn't test until CD33!) Happy healthy nine months to you!

Karen, what fantastic news about law school and the scholarship! Congratulations! It's definitely going to be tough to figure out whether to keep TTC... like Emily, though, I might be inclined to say that having a baby while in school is tenable (but tough, of course!), since one of my close friends had her babies while in law school.

Michelle, yay for bleeding being over... let the GIO commence! Also, color me jealous that you have an orchard

Kharen, so glad you're doing well. I'm excited for your ultrasound, too

Kiya, do you have two islands in one kitchen? Such decadence! Sounds like you had a great weekend.

Judy, Christina is right -- it only takes once to get the job done.

Christina, stupid computer! I can't believe it's making you doubt your ability to pee

Jen, paint stripping! I did a very minor amount of that in our old house, and... ugh... especially on woodwork, with all its curves and contours and little niches that catch the paint. You are a woman of patience.

As for me, first I have to apologize, because I guess I didn't mention that we had to travel to see the in-laws. I've been away! The tulip festival was a bit of a bust, since most of the tulips weren't open yet, but it was a lovely trip regardless.

And, in TTC-related news, I am officially late. My normal LP length is 14 days, and today is 17DPO. Quite exciting! I've been a bit crampy on and off since Friday, so I keep thinking that AF is coming, although that concern is lessening day by day.

But I'm out of tests, so I have not peed on a stick.

DH is politely trying to convince me to POAS, so that he can cancel his SA tomorrow. He doesn't want to cancel the SA without a confirmed BFP. But for some reason, I'm nervous to test, so I'm trying to convince him that it's okay to postpone his SA, a nice neutral solution wherein it's not canceled, and we also haven't paid $150 for a moot test.

I will report back if there are any developments...

I've been feeling pretty bad. I got hit hard with what felt like the flu last Monday and it thankfully? settled into a head cold. It seemed to be seriously headed to my chest on Friday so I took the entire weekend off and spent it in bed. While I don't really feel better I no longer feel like it is getting worse each day. I might feel better today (there is definitely less snot today, ewww), it is just hard to determine what is cold and what is preggo yuckies. I was pretty exhausted but having trouble sleeping before I got the cold, so the cold hasn't helped that. I've been feeling one step away from nauseous the last couple of days. I haven't felt like eating until I actually sit down and eat. We'll see what I'm left with when I shake this cold.

But the fantastic news is that I did get that second u/s and they can say with 100% certainty that the baby is exactly where the baby belongs, the amount of growth between the first u/s and yesterdays is great, and......we saw the heartbeat. It was a beautiful flicker in what otherwise looked like a blob. My hubby was there with me and he loved being able to see that. And they were able to determine that I ovulated from my left ovary, meaning it traveled down my left tube which was the tube I had the issue with before, so I'd say it is working! Making me normal girl again instead of possible issue girl....lovin' it! I assume I'll get a call from my gyn's office today to tell me the results (that I already know from the tech) so hopefully they won't want anything further....'cause like I said, I'm done!

: Yeah!!! If you want... if you feel so inclined. If you desire coming out of your neutral place. You're taking this neutral thing to a whole new level... Talk about patience!!

Kripa - Yipee!!!!! : : : (Not that you're feeling bad, but that the baby is right where it's supposed to be and you're "normal!")

Xenon, you are killing us here, woman! We're nice people. Why would you want to do that? Seriously, please, please, please pee! :

Kripa, I am so very excited for you!!!! It's so wonderful to know that little one is happy and healthy!! Woo hoo! I hope you're feeling better soon, though.

Karen, congratulations on law school and the scholarship. That's fantastic!

Michelle, I'm so glad your bleeding didn't last for a very long time. I hope you continue to heal in all ways. It sounds like you are surrounded by beauty where you live. How incredible that you have an orchard!

Jen, congrats your your friend!

I hope everyone else is doing well!

Well, DH and I went for a walk (it's gorgeous here!), had a nice leisurely coffee in a café, and we stopped at the drugstore on the way home for pregnancy tests...

instantaneous, unequivocal BFP!

Karen, Congrats on law school! And the scholarship!!! It’s definitely a tough decision, but you’ve got your foot in the door, that’s great!

Kripa (and all you pregnant ladies) please don’t hesitate to hang out here!

Michelle, I’m glad to hear you’re almost done bleeding. Would you like me to change your entry on the first post? I’m not trying to rush you, just want to make sure you’re ok with whatever it says.

XENON!!! You’re late! That’s awesome. (I’ve never been late). Test, will ya? Seriously though, if you’re 3 days past your usual LP, you don’t even need to test – You. Are. Pregnant.

How funny it would be if your DH had his SA at the same time you got a BFP.

OMG, I’m reading the other posts as I type. Y’all are cracking me up.

Kripa, I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. But it’s so nice to hear that you saw/heard the heartbeat. :

Jen, Congrats to your friend on the birth of her son!

Silly story :

I went to bed around 10 pm last night. When I woke up, I really had to pee, so I brought the fertility monitor with me. I remembered the cup thing, so I got out the cup, pee and held the stick in it for 20 seconds. Then I turned the monitor on, but it only said cd 14 and wasn’t asking for a stick. Today is cd15, so I was like “huh?” . Then I went back to my bedroom and looked at the clock: it was 11:30! I was asleep for all of 90 minutes! (I guess I drank a lot of water before I went to bed). So, another peek stick wasted.

But this morning, it read “high”! Woohoo!

Actually, we only have one island - but it's made of two islands put together. BigLots has this GORGEOUS wood kitchen island for 75 bucks - but it's only 3 feet long! So, we got two, put them end to end, and then tomorrow when the counter guys come, they have a countertop to put on top of it, so that it matches the rest of the kitchen. Frugal as a BEAST, I tell you.

Yay for baby being where baby belongs, and heartbeats, and normalgirlishness!!!!!!! How could they tell which side you ovulated from?
