We had a wonderful night! We have been having some really sleepless nights and I have been craving better nights. Last night dp took the little one from 1130 til 145 and I fed him then at 145. He slept til 530(!) and the I fed and changed him (he was half soaked in breastmilk from sleeping against my engorged breast), and then he slept until 830! I just got up now and he is back sleeping with dp (so cute the two of them in the bed) and I have a few minutes to get breakfast for myself! I am feeling so good. Yay!

Awesome! For the past three nights Logan has contentedly slept beside me (as opposed to wanting only to sleep in my arms or on my nursing pillow in front of me.) Of course, he realizes the second I get up, but being able to consistently sleep laying down has been nice. This has worked well for us too because he wakes me up (almost 2 hours on the dot) when he wants to nurse by nuzzling and rooting against me. He doesn't like to nurse laying down so I still get up - but we're working on that.

Yeah for good nights! We do pretty good. Our little guy eats between 10 -11 and then wakes up again at 5ish. I feed him and then DH changes him. He sleeps until 8ish.
I am with you on the engorgement thing, I think I get more milk on the sheets then in his mouth...he definitely isn't going hungry though!

I feel you! Last night he cluster nursed for about 2 1/2 hours from 7:00 to 9:30 ish then fell asleep. He woke up around 1:30 and I nursed him. I dozed off holding him after nursing, woke up around 3, changed hisdiaper and went back to bed. I know I nursed him for a couple minutes around 5, but we both slet until around 8:45.
This is our 3rd co-sleeping baby and this time I am trying to not nurse him for every little noise he makes and to wait until he's awake and wants to nurse.
I nursed my girls with every little whimper and they were terrible sleepers. He's been a good sleeper for me since we brought him home. He has his days and nights figured out and has since the beginning. Oh how I thank God for that.

Sleep? I have forgotten what that is
We are up every two hours or so. Oh but she is so worth all the sleepless nights!

Yay for sleep!
We went out of the house yesterday for the first time since Katelyn was born and she slept all day, literally. I was so zonked from the excitement of being out of the house and walking around three stores and was afraid we'd be up all night, but she slept. Phew!
