Can I Use Kosher Salt For Sauerkraut?

I bought a head of cabbage to try sauerkraut for the first time and didn't realize until just now that I am all out of the celtic sea salt I usually buy. The only other salt we have in the house is the kosher salt I use to scour my cast iron!

Can I use course Kosher salt to make sauerkraut? Thanks!

Any salt without added iodine should work. The iodine cause pickled items to be cloudy.
