Help! Pink Urine?

I just changed my babe's diaper and it is pink. Not uric acid crystal orange/red like you see a day or two after birth, but.. pink, like it "was-washed with-something-red" pink. It is oddly spaced in the diaper - it is on the sides of the prefold I had folded in a cover and on the back of the diaper. The diaper was very wet and I know he is not dehydrated.

I called the pediatrician and the nurse said not to worry and called it 'brick dust' - I tried to explain to the receptionist that it wasn't uric acid crystals but I don't know if she relayed it to the nurse. They said I could bring him in.. but.. has anyone else seen this?!

He doesn't seem to have a temperature and acts fine. He hasn't pooped for a couple of days though.

EDIT : I should mention that I drank a lot of tomato juice today... surely that couldn't do it, could it?

DS has had that a few times too. He had a spot of pink this morning, in fact. I remember my other kids having it too, so that's why I haven' thought much of it. It IS disconcerting to see pink in the diaper, I know!

Thought I'd update this for anyone who was curious or saw this at some point. This happened again today and I took him and his dipe to the ped just to make sure... she said she thought it was likely uric acid and that he was going through a growth spurt and his fluids were a little out of balance while he was increasing my supply.
