Remembet that thing I said about the rubber band in my cervix?

I felt it today. My cervix must be more open or reachable cause I never felt it before. It's just as the midwife described ~like the clear wimpy elastic in the edges of some underwear~. I tried to put some stress on it, but it wasn't in THAT easy of reach.
I'm wondering what it's going to do. . .

Wow. I wonder what it's gonna do too. Too bad you couldn't get it too budge. What's keeping it up there anyway, pressure?

I checked mine yesterday and poked my baby right in the head. I was reaching FAR so I could get to my cervix, and it was like right there. 2 fingers right into my cervix. It shocked me how much it had changed in a week. I guess I was pretty much expecting it to feel the same as last week. I was hoping that good old sex would help things move along. I've been contracting almost constantly for like 3.5 weeks now. I did wake up this morning having VERY crampy contractions and that was different. But the crampy part of it has been off and on. The contractions tho are still coming. If it didn't sound crazy, I'd strip my own membranes!! Things NEED to get underway....I am TIRED!:

Since checking it out again I was thinking that visualizations are MADE for this kind of thing. I'm going to be dedicating my idle moments to visualizing it yawning open. . .my strong uterus pulling and streching it aside. . .the baby's head barreling through. . .it disolving.
