Hi ladies.... CD6 here... What a bummer...

My dh's Urologist called and left a message to call them back a few weeks ago. My dh has been trying to get ahold of them, but all he gets is their answering machine. He leaves messages to call him back and that it's ok to tell me the results. Nothing. No call back. We are getting pissed over here. What do we do?

Hello everyone!

Booja'smom--Thanks for all of the info on REs. I'm glad you found one you like and trust. It does seem like it would be relaxing to have someone to trust a bit on this front.

Hazeleyes--I've often been tempted to just show up at the office when no one calls me back. If that's a possibility for you or dh, I'd go in and wait until someone gives you the information they have for you.

Good for you, Funnygrace! I'm sorry that it sometimes comes to this... but good luck with whatever strategies you decide to use, Hazeleyes.

Angel - thanks for reminding me to post. I've been laying low because while waiting for my lap and healing from my lap, we've basically taken a forced month off, so I have been lurking but not really posting, since we're not actively TTC right now. My surgery went about as well as can be expected - but I'm pretty confused about the results, since they went in for a polyp and possible endometreosis, but the Doc said there was no sign of either, but instead there was a bunch of scar tissue on my uterus (she said perhaps from having my appendix out when I was 12) and that there were adhesions on my left ovary. She removed the scar tissue and adhesions, so maybe I'm fertile now? I don't know, because I can't BD for 3 weeks. : So that puts May as a month not TTC too. The worst part of the lap was having to get up at 5:30 am to be to the hospital for 6am for a 7:30am surgery. I'm not a morning person, so that kind of sucked. So now 5days later my belly is sore, but its not unbearable, but its BRUISED, its almost purple in one spot. I look like I've been punched in the stomach, hard. Oh, and tearing the bandaid off the lower belly, almost on my pubic bone hurt.. lots. And lots. I mean, OW!

So thats what I've been up to. Not much to post unil about Memorial day, by which time I'll have ovulated already, so then I won't have much to post until June, when the RE wants me to take Clomid again and try IUI's again. That sucked the first time around, so we shall see.

well three weeks isnt bad.. you gotta wait 6 after you have a kid ... (well youre supposed to ) we you barbara... glad your doing better.. I'm sorry its so painful but that fades with time... and it'll be worth it cause your gonna have a baby in your arms soon
post #29 of 90
Hey all. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know I'm doing about 90% better then I was a week ago. I don't have the pain anymore, but I have to pee ALL THE TIME! I can't even go far from home for more then 45 minutes because I know I'll have to go pee soon. I even used a couple of public restrooms lately (which I NEVER do because they're germy) But today's the last day of my antibiotic.
And guess what?!?!?! I O'd yesterday!!! I got a +OPK & everything! aaaand, we BD'd the day before and the day after (yes, that means this am) I'm soooo relieved because my DH is going OOT till thursday and I just knew he wouldn't be home for O time. But I was wrong!!! Boy, I love being wrong in cases like this!

Barbara~ I'm so glad to hear that you're recooping from your surgery well. I had a lap done in 2002 and had adhesions removed from my ovaries and uterus. My OB/GYN said it was probably caused from old endometriosis. She also said I had some scar tissue, but didn't mention what that was from. She removed as much as she could. I was up and atem in about a week or ten days. So I hope that helps! You'll be feeling better soon. Of course, the no sex rule would bug me to death.

yeah the 3 weeks wouldn't be so bad, if I wasn't going to ovulate before they were over, and after the 6 weeks wait after baby, you HAVE a baby. After this weeks I have... to wait another 3 weeks to ovulate again.

Fola - I hope you feel better

Ity - I am glad your surgery went well and that you are recovering quickly. It sucks about the 3 weeks Fingers Crossed that June is your month. I got pg after my lap 1 month after they told me I would never be able to have kiddos.. <<Fingers Crossed>>

Theresa - Great news that your are feeling better.

Crystal - Thanks for the AF dust..... IT WORKED...Hurray!!!!

This is it ladies the point of no return tomorrow I go in for my FSH level and to finalize my treatment and I am really hope a babe will come out of this...

Hello everyone:

Sorry I have been MIA. Life is hectic, but I'm trying to get back into the habit of taking my supplements and charting again with this new cyce. :P I have been dealing w/ my insane mil (she started smoking again and landed herself right back in the hospital - duh - on the bright side, dh and I have decided that only he will deal w/ her from now on - which suits me just fine - she's so nice to me in public, but makes the rudest comments to me in private that dh doesn't get). We added a stray puppy to our family a few months ago (I think I posted about it) and have been dealing with ticks on and off since then (YUK). Those little buggers are hard to get rid of and I'm kinda upset about all of the chemicals it takes to do it. : But Zeus (the newbie) is such a sweet heart, that he's worth it. We're just making sure to check the puppies every day.

I also watched The Secret a few weeks ago and am working on the whole LOA thing, including positive thinking, praying (which I was not good at before) and doing silly things like buying diaper bags and working on my affirmations. Anyway, gotta get back to cleaning. It's my day off and I'm working on getting our house in order too.

Theresa: Glad to hear that your feeling better.

ItyBity: So, that's awesome (note sarcasm) that they may have messed up ttc for you when you were a kid. I love conventional medicine. BUT - glad to hear that your doc took care of the scar tissue. Feel better soon.

Hi and to everyone I've missed.

Wow do I know how to kill a thread or what?

Sending much love to everyone for Mother's Day - the mommies of angels, the mommies of those here on earth and the future mommies.

Thanks for the Mother's Day message and thread bump, Tiara!

I have been blissfully offline for 3 days. Wow. I could actually get used to it! Anyway, hope everyone is well and having a good weekend.

News here: Starting Clomid for the very first time tonight!!! Wish me well and, based on my tendency to be grouchy and unpredictable NORMALLY, send any extra patience and fortitude dh's way. He'll probably need it.

Hi everyone! I know I haven't been here much lately but I just wanted to let you know I got a bfp this weekend. I'm still pretty : and it's still early so I don't think I'm quite ready to be moved to the grads list - I'd rather get a blood test confirmation first, hopefully in the next couple of days.

Yeah for a BFP! Baby on the way!
: : : : : : :

Hope you get the blood test and some reassurance soon and then you can start to believe it! (I know it will be hard to fully relax for awhile... )

CONGRATULATIONS SARAHJEN!

Let us know how the blood test goes. I'll be thinking strong sticky thoughts for you.

ELKmama--How many mg of clomid are you taking? This is my first month too--50 mg. I took my last dose last Thursday. I was a bit testy a few times... but possibly not much more than usual. I often get a bit weepy, and that didn't increase either. May you not have any side effects and instead just the main effect! (Me too!)

Fierrbugg--Yuck re: ticks! I hope you are getting them under control.

booja'smom--How are you? Do you have a treatment plan?
