Positive Wording Help Needed: X-POSTED in TAO

I need some help with the words: Peace Keepers.

To me and the Pride Festival Planning commitee, peace keepers gives off the idea that there will be some sort of violence that could occur at our event. And while that is true becuase we live in homophobe central, we don't want to scare people away either. We would like a more friendly sounding and more encouraging wording for the peace keeper role.

For those who don't know, peace keepers are basically the people who volunteer at an event to help keep the people flowing and kinda stand as a barrier to any negativity that could occur.

TIA!

Well the first thing that came to mind was "crowd control" but that's not too friendly... How about "crowd monitors" or "safety monitors" or "crowd management volunteers"?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I like Peace Keepers. I think it's positive. It's friendly. It shows intent. My feeling would be to keep the word peace in there somehow.
I don't think it suggests the possibility of violence. It simply confirms that as a group, you are committed to peace...

What about 'Peace Marshall'?

We called our volunteers in that role just "marshals"

I posted on the other thread too- but "Vibes Patrol" would work for me!
