I have a pair of jeans that are slightly faded, but also have that faded part that comes that way that kinda bugs me b/c it is such a contrasting look. They are nice jeans though otherwise, and they fit perfectly. So I was thinking about dyeing them with some of that denim rit dye or maybe that other brand, cant remember the name b/c I thought it might lessen the effect of the faded parts a little.
Has anyone ever re-dyed their denim? Any advice? What does it make the brown stitching look like? Would it make any difference in this case, or would it just make the faded parts a little darker and the darker parts even darker, so the contrast would be same? Thoughts?

(He was 3) I don't remember if it dyed gold threads or not, it was before faded jeans were popular and I did it to make his worn out second hand jeans look newer.
The jeans were originally a medium blue wash and were pretty faded.
