I miss sex!

My sweet boy is 4 weeks and 1 day old and I am anxious for the all clear and the last of my bleeding to go away. :

Don't hate me! But I had no tearing or other complications and I am READY TO GO!

No way for me. Had a 3rd degree tear and I'm NOT looking foward to sex.

No thanks. Much to DH's disappointment. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready as he likes to remind me several times a day. I tell him to go to the bedroom by himself.

You're supposed to wait for an all clear? Oops! DH couldn't have waited any longer anyway, I think

I did have tearing - I had a choice between stitches and a week in bed - I chose bed.

It was uncomfortable at first, but didn't really hurt,and everything felt fine after a minute or so (I think it was the initial stretching).

My libido has been roaring since almost the get go, but I'm making myself wait because of the stitches and the sciatica (won't.go.away.graH!) . . .

We don't usually even have sex (in fact, only once since the baby's conception) but for some reason I've been having the urge big time lately and it's not even been 3 weeks since the birth. I had a 1st degree tear that's totally healed by now.

I had like zero sex drive through out the pregnancy but I am feeling the urge now I am so glad- I really wondered if my sex drive would come back. With dd1 we got it on 2-3wks pp but this time around I think we will wait a bit longer. Sex sounds good but when I think of something going in or out down there---- um...kinda kills the mood

I'm ready too. I'm surprised that I feel up to it this soon. I didn't have any tearing, but the swelling was crazy and I had a few "skidmarks". It seems almost all healed and the bleeding is almost non-existent. I'm going to ask my midwife on Fri when she weighs the baby if I really need 6 whole weeks of "pelvic rest".

My nurse said 4-6 weeks . . . and my DH is all over the 4 weeks idea - oh no! I have been feeling a bit frisky but the first time after birth is just not the best . . .

I think daily sex is getting me through being 42w+ pg...

My friend lamented my long gestation and I replied with, "at least I still get to have sex"

but I know what lies ahead...

I'm ready too, as is DH I tiny tearing no stitches needed or anything
I'm very ready but not sure what we will do with baby since right now she wont really rest anywhere but in our arms and that wont work!

The mind is ready but the body is not. I'm still bleeding and I have one stitch left to fall out, otherwise I'd be back in the game.

I'm ready, dh is totally ready (who am I kidding, he's ALWAYS ready!!) but my body just is not. But then, I'm only 2 weeks pp and I had a minor tear. We are loving the fact that we can be so close though, no big belly in the way, so we are content to kiss and snuggle...for now

i AM SO READY AS well2w3dpp but the bleeding keeps coming back, honestly I felt more than ready at 1 week pp, I cannot even remember when my libido was this high. I didn't tear, and felt normal within a few days

I am missing that too! Now that my belly is not so big I wish I could - but I think it will be awhile because I have stitches and don't know how long it will take to recover (at 5 days pp I am still very uncomfortable).

...I just love DH so much though - I see him in a whole new way it is amazing much more respect and affection I have for him!
