Yes, it's silly. But the point is ............ that the subject is out there! People might just hear the song and think about the issue twice. Did you get past the first line?
Because he goes on to say something to the effect of, "I can't believe that they do this--affect a man's lifelong sexual pleasure when he is an infant."
It's akin to the song, "Rufus is a tit man," by Louden Wainwright, which is actually a sweet song about his wife breastfeeding his son. At least these issues are getting out there, even if it is in the form of silly songs.
BTW, this guy emailed me back, and said that he was influenced to write the song after listening to Marilyn Milos (of Nocirc). So, he is trying to put it out there as a "Get the message across" song.
