My group of midwives

I go through a group of midwives (they are connected with obs, but deliver at a different hospital and never really need them unless emergency c is required). Anyway, we just got a new midwife in (I'm 37 weeks) and she's VERY different than the other midwives. She seems to contradict everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) that the other 4 have to say. She even told me I wasn't dilated (after being checked by 3 other midwives and a nurse at different times over the last 3 weeks, I was at a 2-3). When I asked her why I was 'undilated' she said they must have felt wrong cause you don't shrink... So whats going on? Is it possible for her to feel nothing when everyone else is feeling something? Also, she is keeping me on anti-contraction meds even though I'm 37 weeks...The other midwives told me this would keep me pregnant much longer than 40 weeks if I take them now....but she says "they are joking. you wont stay pregnant too long. no such thing."
SO someone please tell me what they think..... I don't feel comfortable having this woman delivering my baby, so all I can do really is hope she isn't on call when I go into official labor....whenever that may be. Is she nuts? Or is there more than one answer to dilation and meds??? This is stressing me out more than the actual birth....

say something to the other mws in the practice- call or write a message- this is no fun to say the least-- one would think that a new mw to the practice would be followed/go through a trial period of time before begin unleashed on the clients .
I even take exception to this statement as if she could not be wrong!
"I was 'undilated' she said they must have felt wrong cause you don't shrink..."

on top of that if a baby changes position the dilation can change-

turns out this is the midwife that ended up delivering me!!! She actually wasn't too bad....she gave me a lot of space and helped me stick with the decisions I wanted going into the whole thing.

I'm glad that it turned out to be alright. Congrats.
