Anyone familiar with infrared toaster ovens?

I'm not having much luck with this one in the Nutrition forum, so I thought maybe this would be a better place to post?

We recently stopped using our microwave because of health concerns and have decided to get a toaster oven for reheating and cooking smaller meals. DH has been reading reviews and wants to get the Panasonic FlashXpress toaster oven, which uses infrared technology. I did a quick look and couldn't find much information on infrared ovens, but my gut tells me I should be leery of anything that "FlashXpresses" food. Anyone know anything about them?

TIA!

I have a GE Advantium oven, which has an infrared heating element. I've been really happy with it (it's a combination infrared/microwave, so it cooks food well and fast!). I don't have an issue with microwaves (it's just heating the molecules, not making them radioactive or anything), but I do use the infrared part by itself sometimes and it works well.
