Just get a big kiddie pool. That's what we did- worked great.

I rented a big birthing tub - I live in an itty bitty student apartment. Dd#2 was born in the lving room! It was awesome - don't let the space issue come into play...seriously my apartment is like the size of a postage stamp and it was fine! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Read the birthing pool resources thread at the top of the forum for info on where to get a pool. It is easy and inexpensive.

I used a kiddie pool also, but didn't birth in it...I loved it for laboring though. I just wasn't close to the pool when it was pushing time & didn't want to walk back to where the pool was: .

I only got in the pool to push so it stayed warm enough the hour and a half or so I was in there.
