Something's Up

Or should I say down? Sometime overnight this little boy decided to drop way lower down. I've felt mildly crampy all day and have had, I think, some contractions as well. He's my first so I'm just not quite sure, except to know that something's changed a lot. Yesterday my belly just toughed my legs, today when I sit down I have a lap full of heavy belly and I just feel...odd.

I'm really starting to think this boy is not going to patiently wait for his June 1st due date.

You're about 36 weeks, right? Let's hope he stays in there for a little while longer - just to make sure On the other hand, walking around feeling like your crotch is down to your knees isn't fun, either! It sounds like the little guy has dropped, though! You could be our first June Mama!!!

That is good news! I know first time mamas sometimes drop a few weeks before labor starts, so don't worry too much about it. But it sounds like he's getting ready for the big day!

I am not a first time mom - and they 'say' us BTDT moms mightn't drop. I do a bit of a check a few times a week in the shower (don't go anywhere near the cervix for a few more weeks) but that baby's head is right there - no mistakening it - an inch and a bit away and I have a hard round mass of a kiddo's head.

I have given up whether dropped or not dropped, dilated or not dialated really actually means anything. HOpe your babe stays put for a few more weeks then all bets are off! [I am not worried about this kiddo coming anytime soon - my last was exactly the same]

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow, and I feel like our baby has gotten lower as well. I am definitely carrying differently and have had several people say I look smaller
