I went in for my midwife visit yesterday. I am 41w1d, so I opted for an exam to see how things were progressing. After a couple minutes, she informed me that she couldn't feel a definite head and recommended getting an u/s for positioning.
We got in pretty quickly for the u/s and the doc immediately could tell that baby is breech. Unfortunately, he also said it's too late to try an external version. So, I'm off to the chiro in a hour to see what he can do.
Otherwise, it's c/s for me over the weekend. I also have a high-ish level of fluid. And apparently, that combined with a breech baby is a high risk factor for prolapsed cord. Baby is not yet engaged in my pelvis, so I'm hoping that the Webster technique will work. But, I'm also trying not to get my hopes too high. Either way, I will get to meet this little person very soon!

You and your little one are in my thoughts. No matter what, you'll do great!
