for dental fillings? Rescue Remedy before the visit and Nitrous before the procedure. DS 4 has 7 cavities and will be going in at the end of the month to fill the first few. Has anyone used Rescue Remedy before the visit safely with Nitrous afterwards?

Rescue Remedy is perfectly safe to use. It is basically water and a bit of alcohol. The remedy works on a non physical level so cannot have any condra-indications with the nitrous.

Homeopathic arnica a good remedy for dental work. You can get stronger (30x) formulations.
Nitrous is not especially safe for kids, but it's not as 'dangerous' as IV meds, either. With 7 cavaties, I'm surprised the dentist didn't recommend full anesthesia. That would be much more comfortable for your dc, and make the procedure much faster.
Sad. I'm sorry!

She did recommend it, but we won't go that route. I'm very uncomfortable with general anesthesia unless there would be an emergency of some sort.
