How to clean wooden high chair?

I just pulled my old wooden high chair out of the basement and it's pretty dusty and dirty. How do I clean it? What especially do you use for the eating surface on a day to day basis?

We use Orange Plus cleaner from Earth Friendly Products, diluted 1:8 with water in a spray bottle. Spray lightly and wipe with a cloth. Sometimes I scrub with the dish-scouring pad on really sticky spots.

For the first cleaning, since it's really dirty, I suggest using lots of soapy warm water with a shot of vinegar and wiping it down with rags, then using more rags to dry it so the water doesn't penetrate the varnish/paint.

I love having a wooden highchair!
