Calcium and dairy sensitive

Ok so if you are completely dairy free and where would a natural source of calcium come from.... I know logically there are other sources I mean we haven't always suckled off of cows our entire human lives................... So where is it??? Any one know any good resources, books, websites, I could look at for this. Boy that seems like a dumb question

lots of veggies are high in calcium as are bone broths.

broccoli, kale are the best veggie sources

almonds, sesame seeds are good nuts...

as for bone broths - take your organic(*) chicken bones and drop them in a pot; cover with water (enough to just cover and then a little bit more); a shot of lemon juice or vinegar; boil for ever (ok not forever, but 12 hours is a good time); drop in veggies scraps (the bits that are ok to use but that you would never serve) for the last 30 minutes. if it gels once it has been chilled, then it was a good broth.

(*) along with sucking out all the good minerals, you'll also be sucking out junk so you want to do this with high quality bones.
