weird dreams. . . . anyone else?

In a dream last night I gave birth to Grover the muppet, and the weirdest part about it is when the midwife gave me my one pound little blue muppet to nurse, she told me "sometimes we give birth to muppets." like it was perfectly normal. And all my friends and family seemed perfectly okay with it too. It was so bizarre.

We don't even watch Sesame street at my house so I have no idea where this dream came from.
Anyone else experiencing crazy pregnancy dreams?

Oh my!

I wonder if the midwife meant that sometimes women in general have muppets, or if she meant sometimes women at that birth site have muppets? If so...that really should have been covered in the prenatal tour!

I often dream that I've lost my mucus plug and am having bloody show...and that I'm totally not ready for the babe! But nothing fun or really "preggo brain" yet. On the other hand DH has been having all sorts of pregnancy dreams...like I give birth to kittens and we have no place to put them, or that the birth takes under and hour from start to finish and he catches the babe in the living room (that morning he said "it was fast...let me put it this way...there was a stain on the rug"). I think it's sort of funny that he is having all these dreams!

I love the muppet dream! I wish i was having fun ones like that= the last few nights I've been having nightmares. Last night i had the most vivid dream someone was trying to steal my dd out of our bedroom window. It was so real that I woke up and yelled and picked up dd out of her toddler bed and put her in bed with me for a while! Dd thought it was great to be in bed with me (she doesn't appreciate that I just feel too big to bedshare all the time now). I'm not sure what I've dreamed the other nights, but its vivid enough I'm talking my sleep- poor poor dh.

No baby dreams here. I didn't really get them during my first pg, either. Last time, I dreamt about dirty, overflowing public toilets a lot, but not even that, this time around!

I did have a fairly romantic dream last night, which was kind of pleasant. It gives me hope that perhaps my sex drive will return sometime in the future!

(Last time, I was frisky all through pregnancy, but even more so--super, crazy, sexed-up so!--in the early weeks after the birth! What a shocker! For poor, neglected DH's sake, lets hope I get some of that mojo back right after this one is born!)
