What should I be doing these last 4ish weeks?

So, I will be 36 weeks tomorrow (wow!) To prepare for the upcoming birth, I have changed my supplement routine a bit:

* Switched from CLO to EPO

* Have started to drink 2 cups of red raspberry leaf tea instead of one

Is there anything else I should be doing to get my body ready?

TIA!

REST!! Get as much as you can! Naps are your friend!

That sounds good, but you can drink a lot more RRL tea - 5 cups a day is ok. Or you can make each cup stronger.

Make sure you're doing your pelvic rocks to encourage babe to be in a good position for birth.

Kegel, kegel, KEGELS!

my midwife told me to take flax seed meal......omega 3 apparently help with post partum....I have been taking

prenantal pill
50 mg of EPO twice a day
up to cups of tea with dandelion, nettles, and red raspberry

at around the time for my strep test (36 weeks I will take acidophilus......(might have spelled it wrong)

oh, the pelvic tilts....increase them....

I'm taking alfalfa as well, because I had low milk supply with DS. The risk here is that, for a "normal" woman, alfalfa can trigger OVER-supply. (With a first baby, not knowing what your milk may/may not do, you might stock up on lactogenic herbs to have on hand for AFTER the birth, just in case. Nettles and alfalfa, for example, are very nourishing for anyone, but also happen to help with supply issues should they come up.)

Alfalfa helps build up mom's vit. K, too, which I feel is important since we will decline the vitamin K shot for this baby unless there is some unexpected trauma during the birth.
