Back acne

So does anyone have a regimen for back acne??

I have tried exfoliating often, not exfoliating, washing with a loofah, tto...I don't know what to try anymore. Usually it doesn't bother me too much but now summer is coming and it drives me nuts to not be able to wear tank top and bathing suits:

I know that it is more difficult on the back because the skin is ticker and has more sebacious glands.

I thought maybe using carrot oil because of the beta caroten and vitamin A. As anyone heard about this??

So anyway does anyone have the same problem and has found a regimen that works well for the back

No advice here, but subbing.

I have NEVER had back acne in my life and now it's horrible. I'm not sure what's going on. I have to be in a wedding in October and all the dresses are strapless. :

Wow that's a great idea. I get pimples on my shoulders and back alot, and I always use conditioner, I wonder if this is it?

Wash your hair and then, if you're going to use conditioner, flip your hair over and apply it and rinse with it flipped over so the conditioner doesn't rinse down your back.

I would also use a salycilic acid body wash - Clean and Clear is one - Nutrogena has one. I would then follow with a leave on salycilic products like a acne cream or a toner.

Wow---I am NOT alone I see!! I NEVER, EVER had acne and now I have Backne----my husband actually gave me the gross lowdown on my back this morning---horrifiying I don't even use conditioner. My main problem is that when I get into a hot shower, my back itches, so I scratch it----and then it gets scarred and yucky :

I agree with conditioner being an issue, although I still use it but make sure to wash down my back and neck afterwards with this soap. It's helped my bacne quite a bit.

Salycilic acid products have worked for me in the past. I once got a sample of retin-A cream from a dermatologist and that worked well too. The best most natural thing though has been sunshine. Ten minutes or so of sun a day for a few weeks can make a big difference.

Exfoliate every couple of days, always wash your back after your wash/condition your hair, a salycilic (sp?) acid body wash is a good idea as is a leave on salycilic acid treatment will help, make sure to moisturize with a good non pore clogging moisturizer. I personally use a face moisturizer on my back as well as a good face wash. A lot of body moisturizers will clog pores. Dry skin irritates your skin and causes it to oil more and thus more clogged pores.
