Peanut butter on Apples

I have found fruit juices to ease my naseau, especially orange and grapefruit juice, which then allows me to eat.

I like whole wheat pita with hummus.

I also love the baked, no-salt tortilla chips with fresh guacamole.

For protein I make a homemade cream cheese smoked salmon spread (found the recipe on cookinglight.com) and have that on 7 grain + flax whole grain bread, or on a whole grain bagel.

A fruit shake sounds really yummy. I would make mine with frozen berries, a little honey, a little plain yogart, and maybe a splash of fruit juice. You could also add spirulina or flax.

I have also been loving Amy's frozen bean burritos. A little high in sodium, but really, really tastey.

How do you make it high protein? Use a quinoa flour mix or something?

its actually whey protein powder but quinoa flour sounds a lot healthier.. i used organic eggs and spelt flour so its still pretty healthy and i like the extra protein for me and the kiddos

I had an avocado today sprinkled with parmesan, it was pretty good!
OMG! Chocolate covered ginger is soooooooo good <drool>
(Dark chocolate only)
The chocolate sweetness cuts the tartness of the ginger and the tartness of the ginger cuts the sweetness of the chocolate. A marriage made in heaven, as far as I'm concerned, though I've not tried it while pregnant. I tried crystalized ginger last time around for MS and couldn't do it. Try ginger tea using dried ginger (not the leafy stuff in the tea bags) for MS.

We've been camping since I found out and I didn't have my calcium or CLO suppliments with me (need refrigeration), so was craving ice cream and avacados (not together!). When I got home I had a big helping of the calcium and it tasted Sooooo good. In fact, I'm thinking of having more right now.... so does liquid calcium suppliment count as a snack??!?

I'm taking Flintstones vitamins instead of prenatal ones (they make me sick and I never take them so I figure this is better than nothing) and I love the taste. I ate two, justified that it said one just had 75% of an adult's folic acid. But I want to eat the whole bottle.
