Low blood sugar? Thought I was going to faint...

I was in the grocery store earlier today with the boys and after about 35-40 minutes I started to feel a little bit lightheaded but just thought I was fine still. I was a bit hungry but we were going to be eating lunch as soon as I finished shopping. I kept walking towards checkout and suddenly just started sweating profusely and then started to feel sort of disoriented (for lack of a better word--more like I just new something was wrong and I was possibly going to pass out--my eyes felt wierd too) and was shaking a little. I immediately thought--must be my blood sugar and I luckily had a nutrigrain bar in my purse that I ate really quickly. Has this happened to anyone else? Thinking back -- my breakfast wasn't as big as normal today but I hardly thought that after 4 hours I should feel like fainting!!! That was so scary. I ate lunch shortly after and other than being really tired this afternoon--have felt fine.

I just wrote a similar message myself...! I haven't had the sweating or felt like I was truly going to faint, but I'm out of breath all the time. I'm glad eating helped you! I read somewhere that we're supposed to get an energy burst near the end, but I don't remember that happening with my first dd. I was really tired with that pregnancy, too.

Yup - I had this happen to me just yesterday - I went running to the OB in a panic. Turns out, I was just a little overextended. Doc said baby was fine.
