Hi, it's your turn!

Your signature says your man is non-western - where is he from?
Perrin - is that the name you are giving your baby? Boy or girl?
You're a first time mommy - what are you most excited about? worried about?
What do you do career wise?

I need help coming up with questions - I am tired! More tomorrow!

Did you get the name Perrin from the Wheel of Time books?
Why is it important to you that your DH is not from the West?
Who in your family are you closest to? Why?
Are you a lot like your mother?
Do you like your in laws?

Do you have any siblings?
How many kids do you plan to have? lol or are we jumping the gun with that one?

How did you meet DH?
How long have you been together?

lol... I'll stop and give you chance to catch up with us!

Awww well "non-western" man is a term here used for a guy who is sensitive, aware of his feelings and others....ect... I think it must have come from the fact that lots of western men (not all) are not or at least are not comfortable showing those things.

Perrin Alexander is the name we have picked for our boy

I am most excited about the fact that after 3 losses we are finally going to have a precious baby to hold and love. I am worried about everything right now it seems, but it is probably hormones. I worry sometimes that after 34 years of "doing my own thing" I will have trouble adjusting.

Career wise I am a dairy goat rancher. I raise dairy goats, sell them, milk them, and make things to sell from thier milk.

I hope my answers are clear...lol If they are not feel free to ask me to answer again.

This is fun... Ask away **Grin**

**Grin** Yes, we did get Perrin from the Wheel of Time books...

He is from the west...lol I think it is must just be a term used around here for a guy who is not a "typical western male"

I am not very close to my blood family, but I have a large family if choice, my MIL is the family member I am closest to, she is wonderful and wacky!

I really try hard not to be like my mother was, she passes almost two years ago and we were not close at all. I do however find myself doing things the way she would have somedays

I LOVE my MIL, my FIL and his wife are ok, but we really do not see them that often due to distance.

I have one sister and one half brother.

We are planning to take our family one child at a time and feel out what works best for us as a family. We would like to have 3, but if it works out that what is best for our family is more or less that is fine as well.

I met Eric (DH) at a friends Halloween party in 04'. We dated for only 8monthes and decided to get married. We will have been married for 2 years on June 8th of this year... It is one of those love at first sight stories and we are still just as sappy ...

I am pretty sure that the term means something along the lines of men from america, generally brought up to be stoic, not cry, not talk about feelings, not "show" emotion...
Funny thing is... I have never really thought about the term that much and this thread has really made me think about it... lol

I live in Seguin Texas on a 170 acre ranch/farm.

I live in Texas.

I was born and raised here, but have lived in other states and countries.

I like were we like ok, the weather leaves something to be desired, it is WAY too hot here all the time. We are looking to move to NM, my husband is a teacher and whats to teach on Indian Reservations.

I am looking forward to holding and cuddling our baby and helping him grow into the person he wants to be.

I am nervous about doing things "right", my mom was abusive and I am fearful of being anything like her, even though everyone tells me I won't be.

We are planning a MW attended birthcenter water birth. I want an all natural unrushed birth that is the most gentle beggining for our baby.

Keep the questions coming

That sounds like a wonderful birth. I always admire first time moms who birth outside the hospital, it takes a lot of trust in yourself and honoring of the birthing process. I think that the fact that you already have the trust and respect for the birth process really prepares you for the challenges of motherhood. I think you'll do just fine. My own mother was a less-than-ideal mom and I think that helps me to be a better mother, I'm sure the same will be true for you. You know what not to do.

Whats your favourite food?

Anything you can't eat during pregnancy?

What were you and DH dressed up as the Halloween that you met?

What's your favourite Holiday?

You mentioned living in other countries? Which ones?

Do you find yourself more "motherly" with the goats now that you're preggers?
How many goats are on your farm?
Do you ever rent them out to people with vegetation problems?
What is your favorite goat product?

(Sorry, I'm totally into your goats)
