May 6 ...ladies still waiting

Me...I went to the hosp yesterday because the baby was not moving at ALL. He is fine. Lots of fear mongering and overblown statistics. At 41 weeks for gods sake. Anyway I had a lot of ctx all afternoon and a few overnight but again nothing that sticks around...
At this point I honestly am caring less and less about vbac - I JUST WANT TO HOLD MY BABY!!!!!!!!
He has 8 days to come out, then I am having a rcs. (Not inducing because I have had 2 prior c/s)

Who else is still here this morning? How are you doing? (((((((((((hugs)))))))))

Still here and paranoid as ever!!! I wake up and make baby move just know everything is ok. You are not alone with your worries. I am sorry you had to go to the hospital. I know you must have been in a panic. I'm glad baby is doing good though. I'm with you, I want to hold my baby too. No contractions here. Just trying to be patient. I hope we are holding our little ones really soon!!

wow, it's the 6th already!! And we're still here??!!

I just want my body back at this point, and to be able to sleep w/o aching hips.

Did I mention how many pantyliners I go through during the day? It's not all from discharge either

At least I can say that I'll have a baby sometime this thursday since I'm going in wednesday evening to be induced. I just wish he'd come on his own :

DH wants a lil' something something tonight. I think I'll take him up on it. It might be the last time we DTD for 6 weeks. It just depends what hour the kids decide to go to sleep..... it's just sooo uncomfy doing it with a 50lb butterball in the way :

I told dh I wanted to dtd just to see if it might get things going. I think he is a little scared but he'll get over it. "hugs before drugs" as they say!!! Anyway, I'll be walking some more today. I may get my hair cut if the baby doesn't come in the next couple of days. I need a haircut anyway. So are there just 3 or 4 of us left at this point? I was one of the first to go in my last ddc. I was in May '05 and ds came in April. Now, I'm one of the last.

LOL @ hugs not drugs. We dtd last night and I swear it made my ctx LESS. Whatever. I am so over myself. With my last baby I was due Aug 21 and was the 2nd to last in my due date club to deliver, and that was only because I ended up with a c/s... had i waited I surely would have been the last. Its annoying. I am annoyed. Everything is very very annoying.

Still here, too...

We dtd TWICE yesterday, hoping it would help things along... so far, nothing new.

I did go for a walk out back in the woods for an hour by myself - it was refreshing mentally. I took some loppers with me and trimmed a trail as I went. I've been wanting to do that since we moved in 3 years ago!

After lunch, DH, dd, and I all went for a walk up our road and back - about a half mile all together. I had some mild ctx the whole time, and some really uncomfortable pain/sensations in my cervix. The ctx have kept up since I sat down, but they aren't painful or anything...

I had to laugh when you said "Everything is very very annoying" - I am SO with you on that one! I have no patience for anything anymore. I feel so snippy all the time. I'm having the achy hips at night, too. So much fun. I'd go to bed when dd does so I can stock up on sleep, but if I lay down for more than 5 or 6 hours, my hips and lower back hurt so much - it's just not worth it...

Just wanted to offer to you ladies! Hang in there!!!! We are still anxiously awaiting your babes!

that's all DH has on his mind, I think just as an excuse to get some. My sex drive has diminished to almost nada w/ this pg, so he'll use whatever excuse. He mentioned when he got home from work today that he can try to jumpstart things. then I had a thought... what if we dtd and the baby DID come a couple hours later? EWWW the stuff he'd be traveling in

Keep your fingers crossed...

I am trying (and failing miserably) not to get my hopes up, but I think something may be happening with me - finally!

I had the BH going on at 2ish, and they've kept up. However, by 6 they were mildly uncomfortable, and steadily 5-7 minutes apart. They're in my belly, lower stomach, wrapping around to lower back, and even down my legs some - that seems weird... But now at 10, they're actually "breathe-worthy" at the peak. Yay!

I keep telling myself, even if this isn't "IT", at least it's got to be doing something productive!

Oh it does sound like something is going on!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Dh went to sleep too early : No dtd to jumpstart anything here. Oh well.

Jenn - that is too funny about the stuff he'd be traveling in dh said the same thing except he said the midwife would comment on the smell. He's weird

Well, you know, it's not just the prostaglandins that help things along...

Things here are staying interesting. I tried to lie down around 11, and it was NOT happening! The first contraction I had laying down just about did me in - no wonder women stuck laboring in bed scream for an epidural. It was awful!

If this keeps up, I will be going into the hospital in about an hour - at least just to be monitored and checked (VBAC fun...) If I feel like it, I'll just come home.

How exciting!!! I hope you are holding your little one soon.

I guess mainesax did go into labor, as we haven't heard from her since last night. I hope all is well.

Velvet005....no DTD last night for us either. Once we got the kids settled in for the night, around 11pm, I think both of us were way too tired for anything. Oh well, maybe tonight.

I think my verigo's getting screwed up. I came close to calling DH to come home early. I was sitting down folding CD's when my heart started racing, got really dizzy and faint, and sweating/hot flashes. It's still happening, almost 1 hour later. I did a quick search online about it, and I don't know. One of my close friends said she went thru the same thing the day before she went into labor and she was told it was a sign. I never heard of that one though. I just wish it would stop.

So, I guess there's just 3 of us left now? Wonder who's going to win the prize for being the last?

I was due 1 week ago today.

I do *not* want the prize. I was due Friday the 27th, so thats what...10 days ago? I am so over it. I am giving the boy till Wednesday to come out.
I'm still here.

We drove up north for the weekend to stay at a little B&B. Surely I thought being 2 hrs from home would entice this little one. Not so apparently...

Hi everyone~
I've been out of touch for a few months due to lack of computer access, but now i'm glad to be back! My due date was april 10 but after doing some recalculating, my MW moved my date to May 8 instead. It's been really weird going though the "is this it?" stage twice. especially since i've been having BH since early april and sometimes they're good and strong, so it's been kind of a roller coaster ride for us. Hopefully things will start moving along now that i'm actually full term!!

I'm thinking of all of you, and sending you peaceful labor vibes~ Your babies will come when they are ready!
Still here too and I don't want the prize either!!! I have been feeling nausaus today but I feel that at least once a day everyday so....

I've been shopping ALL day. We left the house @ 8:30 because dh wanted me to take ds to the Dr because of his cold. He's fine, no infections just a little runny nose and a cough. I suspected he was fine all along but it made dh feel better for the Dr to say it for himself

We are closing on our house this afternoon. I guess we will be clear to begin the building process once we have signed the papers. I feel like so many huge things are going on in our livees right now. I feel a little nervous about it.

Jenn - we have the same edd. I can't believe we are 41 weeks today.

MommyofTwo- I know you are ready to meet your little one. I feel like I am going crazy and I am 3 days behind you. I know our babies will come when ready but I really want to meet this little person my body has been nurturing for the last 10 months.

Brittney - I bought 2 maternity tops today hoping that would get labor going because then maybe I wouldn't get the opportunity to wear them very much. But I will say, I think I can wear them pp anyway. They were cheap. I have strange little theories about doing things to see if labor will start and so far nothing has. Oh well, I guess I am worried mostly about the baby releasing meconium. I really hope that doesn't happen.

Sorry for the LONG post.........

Nope. Still here. :

I did go into the hospital - arrived around 2am, they did an exam and I was about 2cm. They decided to admit me, since my ctx were steadily 5 min apart, strong, and 90sec in length. Got the saline lock done, blood drawn, hooked up to the d*mn monitor (I hate that thing). By 7 or 8, things had slowed down... I had an hour where I only had one contraction...

Around 9:30 they checked again, and I was 3cm, but not really having good ctx anymore. So, they sent me home. Of course, that means they had to take out my iv lock - so more sticks when I go back in. Ugh.

Still having really good ctx - just not in any pattern at all. I'm hoping they hold off enough so I can get some rest. I'm headed to bed early tonight...
