Gawd I love this movie ! I always feel like the actors were ad libbing their scenes as they went, making it sooo much funnier .

This movie is SO FUNNY. My favorite couple are the young man and woman w/braces who own the Weimeraner. Said Weimeraner is in therapy because he walked in on them having sex. Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.

oh, I know. And it's one you can see over and over because it's too much brilliance to absorb in one sitting. Like this weekend I really got the two left feet. Jennifer Coolidge is sublime without saying a word. Um, and let's not forget Spinal Tap!

Love this movie!

And a lot of the movie was improv, so the scenes you think they ad-libbed probably were. It's great.

A Mighty Wind is another Christopher Guest movie, about a comeback concert of 60s folk music, and it's almost as funny.

Yes-They didn't have scripts, but were given the idea for what the scene should be. Christopher Guests ensemble casts are the best!

I have to see For Your Consideration-his last movie that is about a cast of a Yiddish movie that gets nominated for an Oscar.

I didn't really like Waiting for Guffman. Not sure why. Hmm....will have to see For Your Consideration though....

Nothing beats the scene in the petstore, when they've lost the dog's bumblebee toy and are desperately trying to buy another:

"Okay, a bumblebee toy? Here it is! This is it!"

"That's a bear in a bumblebee costume, you idiot."

"Well, to us. But I mean, to a dog...Well, how about this, then?"

"That's a fish, you moron!"

"Well, WE know that. But a dog doesn't. It's got the black and yellow stripes...I really think that's what the dog is responding to."

"Oh thank you very much for your HELP! Just forget it! I came here looking for a specific toy, which you DON'T HAVE. I'll just take this!"

"Really? I think that's the least bumblebee like of all the toys that we have..."
