Pergo Natural laminate floor cleaner

Just read the ingredients in this to my dh: Water, ethanol from corn (alcohol), coconut-based surfactant, vinegar, lemon essential oil. His reply was, "Well, we could make that ourselves." Holy cow, am I rubbing off on him???

Funny! I just mopped my Pergo today with my White Vinegar/Water mix that I use for everything.

Wtg you most definatly are rubbing off on him lol. How do you find the cleaner?? We usually just use water so I've never tried it.

We saw the cleaner at Home Depot but didn't buy it cuz he's right, we'll make a version of our own. It's good to know though, that the vinegar is an ok ingredient to use on the laminate, he was worried about that. The alcohol will make sure it evaporates quickly so the laminate doesn't get wet.

He grabbed cloth napkins at dinner the other night, what's next, I wonder! :P

Hey - cool. The whole downstairs in our new (actually old - built in 1889) house is laminate, and I had no idea how to clean it. Guess I need to whip up a batch of homemade floor cleaner!!!
