looking for milk free, soy free margarine

Hi! I am new to this group. I need help. My son is allergic to both milk and soy. I am having to learn a new way to cook and new foods to eat. I am currently looking for a milk free, soy free margarine. I have read some online about Mother's Margarine, but the information has been conflicting. Some say it is milk and soy free. Other's have said it is no longer soy free. Does anyone know anyting about this? Or how I could find out? It is not sold in any stores near us. I would have to order it online so it is very important that I find out before I order it. I don't want to waste money on something I may not be able to use. Also any other advice you may have on milk free, soy free alternatives in cooking, or foods in general I would love to hear it. Thanks so much!

My SIL uses Benecol (sp?) for my nephew who is allergic to soy, milk and eggs. She also uses Blue Bonnet Light. HTH.

Flieshmann's light spread w/blue lid. It is made from corn oil. I had a hard time finding it. They sell it at Meijer.

I also use Spectrum shortening (100% palm oil) for cooking and also for spread now that DS tested positive for corn.

The Kosher For Passover version of Mother's Margarine (and Migdal brand) are soy and dairy free. The normal version is not soy free.
