Colorful nipples?

Just wondering for you pumpers out there ( I have a Medela pump in style advanced ) do your nipples change color while pumping? Mine turn a strange purplish blue color during pumping, and then they go back to normal a few minutes after I stop...

Not sure if I should be concerned or not.

Mine do, as well. They also get a white ring around them which is hard, but it softens back up in not too long.

I think it's normal for some folks, we're all different, of course.

With DS 1 yep! White ring and either pale or purple then back to normal after a while.
