I am considering going out to get a crusted-over sippy cup that has been fermenting on our patio table for about a month. I can see it through the livingroom window.

I sneezed. :

And I didn't pee my pants.

Hey, it's a big thing to me!

I changed the cat litter instead of waiting for DH to do it. (They're his cats!)

I remembered to charge up my cell phone before it ran out of power!

I'm taking care of the children today, and I am 100 percent sober.

Unlike the last time my husband got them for the day. :

I watched ds's little friend for two hours and both toddlers were alive at the end.

I put on make up today and did my hair instead of putting it in a ponytail.

I showered -- before putting on clean pj pants and a tank top and going braless to drop the kids off at preschool.

I have given serious consideration to cleaning my kitchen/living room.

I have given it so much consideration that I have a list of what I would do, should I get enough motivation to actually do it:

1. Put away baskets of laundry that are currently reproducing.
2. Pick up all the little paper trash that's hanging around.
3. Pick up all the dishes, sippies, etc, that are haphazardly strewn around.
4. Vacuum.

Now I'm off to nap while the kids nap!

Okay, this is better than the not peeing when sneezing.

I made, from scratch a lovely 13x9 pan of homemade rice pudding.

I made a meatloaf by 9 am so I wouldn't fumble in the kitchen for something to make for dinner.

I've done 4 loads of delicate wash and put them on hangers to dry.

I made the kids a real lunch. Chicken, rice, cut up fruit and milk.

I washed two loads of towels.

I wiped down my kitchen aide mixer. That sucker was naaaaaaaaaaasty looking.

I read all the way through Janis' post and didn't go lay down on the couch in a fit of defeatism. THAT'S an accomplishment, people!

While I may have done this today, I certainly won't tomorrow. Nor did I do it the day before.

So no worries. I'll be back to my old normal slacker self.
